Israel Lobby Routs Obama As Dollar Dies

It did not take the Israel Lobby long to make mincemeat out of the Obama administration’s “no new settlements” position.  Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is bragging about Israel’s latest victory over the US government as Israel continues to build illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land.

In May President Obama read the Israelis the riot act, telling the Israeli government that he was serious about ending the Israeli conflict with the Palestinians and that a lasting peace agreement required the Israeli government to abandon all construction of new settlements in the occupied West Bank.

On November 10 Obama’s White House chief of staff, Rahm Israel Emanuel, surrendered for his boss at the annual conference of the United Jewish Communities.

The ongoing Israeli settlements, he said, should not be a “distraction” to a peace agreement.

Allegedly, the US is a superpower and Israel is a client state whose very existence depends entirely on US military and economic aid and diplomatic protection.  Yet, in the real world it works the other way.  Israel is the superpower and the US is its client state.

This true fact is proved to us at least once every week and sometimes two or three times in one week.    A few days, ago the US House of Representatives voted 344 to 36 in favor of disavowing the UN report by the distinguished Jewish judge Richard Goldstone that found that Israel had committed war crimes in its attack on the civilian population in the Gaza Ghetto.  The Israel Lobby demanded that the House repudiate the fact-filled report, and the servile House did as its master ordered.

US Rep. Dennis Kucinich   spoke to his colleagues for 2 minutes in an effort to make them see that their vote against the Goldstone report would be a great embarrassment to the US government and demean the House in the eyes of the world.

But none of that matters when Israel gives its servants an order.  The US House of Representatives preferred to demean itself and to embarrass the US Government rather than to cross the Israel Lobby.

Retribution quickly fell upon Kucinich for his 2 minute speech.  On November 9, Kucinich was forced to withdraw as the keynote speaker for the Palm Beach County (Florida) Democratic Party’s annual fundraising dinner. The Israel Lobby gave the order—dump Kucinich or there’s no money and no one is coming to the dinner.  County Commissioner Burt Aaronson called Kucinich “an absolute horror.”

Kucinich is the rare Democrat who stands up for his party’s principles, the working class, and tried to get health care for those Americans the corporations have thrown out on the street. But helping Americans doesn’t count.  Israel über alles.

Meanwhile, the US dollar continues to decline relative to other traded currencies.  Since spring, anyone could have made a double-digit rate of return betting on most any currency against the US dollar.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently expressed concern that despite the dollar’s continuing slide, it might still be over-valued.  The Federal Reserve’s low interest rate policy encourages speculators to use the dollar for the “carry trade.”  Speculators, whether individuals or financial institutions borrow dollars at rock bottom interest rates and use the almost free capital to purchase higher yielding instruments in other countries.  The demand for dollars to finance the “carry trade” keeps the dollar higher than it would otherwise be.

Last year it was the Japanese Yen that was used for the “carry trade” due to the practically zero Japanese interest rates. The next scare that unwinds the “carry trade” will cause another big drop in financial asset values.  This means that the stock market is very volatile.  It is based on speculation, not on fundamentals.

When the “carry trade” next unwinds, the demand for US dollars to pay off the loans will temporarily boost the dollar.  But don’t be fooled.  The large US trade and budget deficits are the dollar’s death warrant.

When the dollar finally goes, so will the government’s ability to conduct wars of aggression, underwrite Israel, finance its red ink and pay for imports.  That’s when the printing press will really get going.

Thought Police Drive Lou Dobbs Off CNN

The foundation liberals have finally done it. They have managed to get Lou Dobbs removed from CNN. On November 11, Dobbs announced his resignation, effective immediately.

Dobbs is a gentleman, so he didn’t mention the gunfire directed at his home — the sort of thing you’d expect in a thugocracy like Mexico, not the United States — and he didn’t mention the concerted effort spearheaded by Presente, the National Council of La Raza, and other pro-illegal immigration groups to get him thrown off the air. Media Matters, MoveOn.org, and the Southern Poverty Law Center have consistently agitated to have Dobbs removed.

Soros and the left-cover side of the global elite have realized a victory. Dobbs kept hammering on the broken border and this irritated the elite who want open and unchecked borders in order to drive down wages and destroy the living standards of middle class Americans. Dobbs was a roadblock in the elite’s plan to turn the planet into a unified slave labor plantation.

Lou Dobbs has few options. He may retire. Or he may go over to Fox News. But that is not much of an option. Fox News is part of the controlled opposition. Rupbert Mordoch is a one-world minion who supported the political campaign of Hillary Clinton. Fox programs push the global warming agenda.

Napolitano operates from the basement of Fox News. On occasion he sits in for master disinfo agent Beck. His show is broadcast over the internet and is not in Fox’s television line-up. Is it possible Fox will do the same to Dobbs? We’ll see.Fox News is the flipside supposedly in opposition to the “liberal bias” of CNN and MSNBC. Fox’s talking heads and newscasters — with the notable exception of Andrew Napolitano — are neocons masquerading as conservatives. Fox News operatives like Glenn Beck are tasked with destroying Libertarian and constituionalist elements in the Republican Party. Fox News is an integral part of the false right-left paradigm that controls opposition and renders it ineffective.

Here is the statement Dobbs made on his last show on CNN:

Tonight I want to turn to a personal note, if I may, and address a matter that has raised some curiosity. This will be my last broadcast here on CNN, where I’ve worked for most of the past 30 years, and where I have many friends and colleagues whom I admire deeply and respect greatly.

I’m the last of the original anchors here on CNN and I’m proud to have had the privilege to helping to build the world’s first news network. I’m grateful for the many opportunities that CNN has given me over the many years. I’ve tried to reciprocate with a full measure of my ability.

Over the past six months it’s become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, and in politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to the great understanding of the issues of our day and to continue to do so in the most honest and direct language possible.

I’ve talked extensively with Jonathan Klein. John’s the president of CNN, and as a result of those talks, John and I have agreed to a release from my contract that will enable me to pursue new opportunities. At this point, I’m considering a number of options, and directions, and I assure you, I will let you know when I set my course.

I truly believe that the major issues of our time include — the growth of our middle-class, the creation of more jobs, health care, immigration policy, the environment, climate change, and our military involvement, of course, in Afghanistan and Iraq.

But each of those issues is, in my opinion, informed by our capacity to demonstrate strong resilience of our now weakened capitalist economy and demonstrate the political will to overcome the lack of true representation in Washington, D.C.

I believe these to be profoundly, critically important issues, and I will continue to strive to deal honestly and straightforwardly with those issues in the future. Unfortunately, these issues are now defined in the public arena by partisanship and ideology rather than by rigorous, empirical thought and forthright analysis and discussion.

I’ll be working diligently to change that as best I can. And as for the important work of restoring inspiration to our great free society and our market economy, I will strive as well to be a leader in that national conversation.

It’s been my great honor to work with each and every person at this wonderful network. I will be eternally grateful to CNN, to Ted Turner, and to all of my colleagues and friends and, of course, to you at home.

ADL and Holder Team Up to Fight "Hate Crimes"

On October 17, Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder, attended an Anti-Defamation League’s American Heritage Dinner. Holder called for the passage of The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Hate Crimes Prevention Act. A few days later, on October 22, the law was passed by Congress. Obama signed it into law on October 28. Holder said the impending passage of the legislation would be a “marvelous step of progress” and would result in what Rev. Ted Pike characterizes as stage two, “a massive national campaign to train lawyers to become hate crimes prosecutors.” Holder promised to begin using the act the moment it became law.

Holder admitted that he has enjoyed a long term relationship with the ADL. “I first began convening meetings with members of the ADL in the early 90’s when I served as the United States Attorney in Washington, D.C.,” Holder said, according to a transcript of his October 17 speech. “The Obama Administration could ask no better partner than the Anti-Defamation League as we jointly strive to attain the ideals of equal opportunity, equal rights, and equal justice for all. Members of the ADL — I salute you.”

Rev. Pike notes that the bill will used to prosecute people who are opposed to homosexuality and critics of Israel. If we examine the rhetoric of the ADL, however, we soon realize the powerful organization has a number of other people and organizations on its hit list — most notably individuals and organizations in the patriot and constutionalist movements. The ADL habitually conflates these movements with “militias” and “white supremacists” and warns they pose a threat to the country.

It is now known that the ADL played an instrumental role in the creation of MIAC’s “The Modern Militia Movement” report. The document lists support for Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr as a sign of involvement in the militia movement. “Almost the entire Missouri report is composed of cursorily re-worded documents publicly available on the ADL’s web site,” notes the A Race Against Time blog. Researchers have discovered that specific portions of the document are copied nearly verbatim from ADL sources. “If the rest of the Missouri document was based on information provided by the ADL, you can be sure the section on Paul, Barr, and Baldwin was as well.”

The ADL and its ideological twin, the Southern Poverty Law Center, were deeply involved in the creation of the Department of Homeland Security’s “rightwing extremist” report. Americans for Limited Government filed a FOIA request to get the sources the document used and found the fingerprints of the ADL and the SPLC all over it.

Department of Homeland Security boss Janet Napolitano showered kudos on the ADL during a conference held on April 22, 2009. “In recent years, the Department has placed our employees in your advanced training school to educate us on the tactics used by extremists and terrorists,” Napolitano admitted.

Both the ADL and the SPLC have manufactured a cottage industry around the bogus threat of the “modern militia movement” and specialize in going after key individuals and leaders of the constitutionalist, Libertarian, and patriot movements.

• Alex Jones is a favored target of the ADL-SPLC propaganda and demonization project. A Google search of the ADL website produces dozens of references to the radio talk show host, most related to the Pittsburgh cop killer and admitted white supremacist Richard Poplawski. Poplawski posted comments on the Infowars website.

On a page entitled “Terrorism Strikes America,” posted the day after the September 11, 2001, attacks, the ADL quoted remarks made by Jones, including a comment stating an obvious fact: Osama bin Laden was a CIA asset. Alex Jones’ comments are listed along with comments made by radical Muslims, a Christian Identity group (praising the attack), David Duke, Thomas Metzger of the White Aryan Resistance, the American Nazi Party, and other racist groups. Including Jones on this page is an obvious attempt to link him to racists and crackpot white supremacists.

Other ADL targets include the Oath Keepers and Three Percenters, who are according to the ADL “both part of an anti-government extremist movement that has grown since President Obama took office, promote the idea that the federal government is plotting to take away the rights of American citizens and must be resisted. The two groups are apparently trying to make inroads in the U.S. military,” a mischaracterization that plays right into the DHS “rightwing extremism” document that claims returning veterans pose a violent threat.

According to the ADL, Joe Banister, Tommy Cryer, Pat Shannan, Dave Von Kleist, Jack McLamb, Greg Dixon, Ted Gunderson, and Michael Badnarik are “extremist speakers” who also pose a threat to the country.

All of the above will likely become targets of the Justice Department and its boss, Eric Holder, who played a key role in covering up the Clinton Administration’s premeditated murder of 76 people, including more than 20 children and two pregnant women, at Waco on April 19, 1993.

The so-called Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Hate Crimes Prevention Act will be used against people who criticize homosexuality. It will also be used to go after individuals and organizations the Anti-Defamation League has targeted for elimination.

Getting rid of the “racist” (for opposing illegal immigration) Lou Dobbs is merely the beginning. The Justice Department, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the Pentagon have more fish to fry, namely the growing constutionalist and patriot movements. The ADL has spent years tirelessly characterizing these movements as racist and extremist. Now that Congress has passed and Obama has signed the “hate bill,” we can expect the government to begin going after patriots and closing down “hate radio” venues such as the Alex Jones Show.

Barney Frank Vows to "Wall Off" Fed from Monetary Scrutiny, Warns Bernanke to Brace for Audit

Barney Frank warns Bernanke that he might be forced to embrace a compromised version of Ron Paul’s ‘Audit the Fed’ bill; promises to “wall off” attempts to examine monetary policy

The NY Times reports that House Financial Chairman Barney Frank has met in private with Ben Bernanke to plan strategies for bracing against the overwhelming popular demand to audit the private Federal Reserve, voiced– piercingly for Bernanke– in Rep. Ron Paul’s bill, now with some 300 co-sponsors.

Frank’s part in meeting was to urge Bernanke to face reality– “Mr. Frank warned that he might have to embrace a version of Mr. Paul’s bill,” wrote the Times– now it was time to consider compromises.

However, responding to Bernanke’s top concerns, Barney Frank “vowed” that:

“he would “wall off” deliberations on basic monetary policy, and delay the release of information about the Fed’s financial operations to prevent traders from capitalizing on its moves.”

Bernanke’s “apocalyptic” fear of H.R. 1207 and the accompanying rise in public interest in the Fed, as the NY Times describes it, underscores the drastic survival mechanism of an institution that has historically relied on the secrecy provided by its bland exterior.

Mr. Bernanke initially reacted to the bill in almost apocalyptic terms. The G.A.O. audits, he told a House hearing in late June, could lead to a Congressional “takeover” of monetary policy that would be “highly destructive to the stability of the financial system, the dollar and our national economic situation.”

Why this fear has lingered overhead for so long may be simply because he knows that his thin-air empire can’t withstand a Constitutional examination. Bernanke worries about a “takeover” by Congress because he knows that it alone has the Constitutional authority to oversee the issuance of currency.

As Alex Jones’ Fall of the Republic reveals, Ben Bernanke told Congress in no uncertain terms, that an examination of its monetary policy would amount to a ‘takeover’ and instilled the fear that it would trigger further economic devastation.

The Federal Reserve should not have “independent” autonomy to direct the financial commitments of a nation, print its money at will and risk its stability.

Of course Congress’ constitutional power over money is enumerated in Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution:

The Congress shall have power… To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;

If Bernanke is looking over its shoulder, it is because he knows the Fed’s days are numbered, and that any light (via even a soft audit) will only serve to further expose the improper occupation of the nation’s financial instruments by a private, self-interested global banking cartel.

“The Fed faces populist anger from left-wing Democrats and right-wing Republicans about its power and secrecy… It was alarming enough that… “End the Fed,” had just landed on the best-seller lists.”

Bernanke and his masters are obviously very unsettled by such a significant public outcry, and, as theNY Times notes, the fact that Ron Paul’s ‘End the Fed’ has reached the best-seller list.
